Lava Propane’s convenient, dependable, and labor saving tank exchange is available at better retailers near you. We inspect and fill each of our tanks to a minimum net weight of 17 lbs, giving approximately 2 hours more burn time. Most Competitors are filling to only 15 lbs. net weight of propane.   All of our propane tanks are safety tested and filled to meet DOT requirements. With our service you can be assured that there will always be a tank filled to 17lbs ready to go for your propane needs.
